Scholarships

Each year, the Fund distributes 4% of its market value to scholarships and approved educational programs, but never the principal itself, which stays invested in perpetuity.

The Fund will not make its first scholarship distribution until total assets reach $50,000. Until then, every gift is compounding toward that milestone.

Donors contributing $50,000 or more may establish their own named endowed scholarship fund with donor-specified criteria.

Distributions support scholarships for graduating seniors of East Pennsboro Area Senior High School, and other educational programs serving EPASD students.
