Program overview

The Fund is building a small internship program for EPASD students who want real, hands-on exposure to how an institutional investment fund and a nonprofit are actually run. This is the program's founding year, so work done during the internship will have a lasting impact.

What you'll do

  • Support donor relations and outreach: researching, organizing, and communicating with the community members and organizations who give to the Fund

  • Get exposure to fund administration: tax acknowledgment letters, gift tracking, and reporting workflows

  • Work with data: building comfort with spreadsheets, organization, and attention to detail

  • Assist with content for donor communications and scholarship materials

  • Sit in on parts of Investment Committee reporting to see governance in action

Who should apply

Open to all EPASD students, no experience required. We're looking for curiosity, reliability, and genuine interest, not a specific résumé.

How selection works

Every applicant is evaluated against the same documented, written criteria. As part of the application, candidates work through a sample donor-cultivation exercise built from anonymized, composite scenarios, so every applicant gets the same real-world flavor of the work without exposing any actual donor's information.
